I first met Winnie in the late 1980s and she was the source of most of the images I have of my grandfather's family.
Winnie lived in Elm Grove, West Worthing for a large part of her life and I used to visit in my extended lunch breaks from my job in Worthing. My father was the youngest son of the youngest son so a lot of the family tales she told me were completely new to me and suddenly having access to images of all these ancestors was priceless (for many years I just had names and dates).
